A few lawn care forums recommended a product with Bifenthrin as one solution. So I came to Amazon, and decided to give this Bifen a shot.This product should be used with great care according to all I've researched about it, so I made sure to use the proper protective gear (gloves, mask, goggles, proper clothing). According to the label, the most you'll need is about 2 tbsp per gallon of water. With the 96 oz bottle I bought, that will go a long way. Per the directions on the bottle, I watered my grass first to help the product drip into the thatch once applied. Then I sprayed the entire lawn with the product. Now, I'm waiting 30 days to see if I need to reapply to kill any chinch bugs that weren't hatched yet. One additional benefit is all the mosquitoes that used to attack me in my yard are all gone.
