I ordered it through Amazon's market place through Hardware Sales because it was the best price with free shipping I could find. I ordered it on Wednesday night and promptly received it that Saturday afternoon US priority mail, now that is fast shipping. A light wieght, powerful, and reliable flashlight is a critical need. The MT7 has all the funtions you will ever need or want. It does have a white center spot at long range compared to the P7. As soon as you go into the flood mode the bright center spots goes away and it performs along side of the P7. The strobe is for self defense and I have not mastered the switch yet. It requires 4 very light touches on the swith after switching it on with regular pressure. IMO this is impossible to do in a tight situation. I will use the immediate spot to blind the offender. I did this to a drunk one night and it gave me enough time to get the mace out and radio for assistance.I have purchased 5 Coast Led lensers in the last five years. 2 H7s, 2 P7s and this MT7. It has a flood setting and a spot setting, and is adjustable and lockable in between. In its max light setting, this is a blow torch of a flashlight! The light it produces is white and very bright. It lights up trees that are hundreds of feet away. This is by far the best flashlight out there in this size class. There are other tactical lights in this category but put out a fraction of the light for a lot more money. I very highly recommend this light and once you use it for the first time; you will throw all your other lights away. They will be useless to you! This is an amazing light in their Led-Lenser lineup. |
