Spyderco really did a fantastic job with this one. Ergonomics are excellent and the blade steel is fantastic.....it takes and holds an edge as well as any other knife (and there are many) that I own. I really can't say enough about this knife except to say that I will ALWAYS own one. Paramilitary 1 was available until 2010, and now it's the model 2.0 version. Amazon's listing is confusing, as some photos are for 1, and some for 2, even in the same posting. You must take a moment to see one of the half dozen utube vids about 1 versus 2 so you know what you're ordering: you want the upgrades and refinements of the Pm2. It's hard to order from Amazon based on their (currently) faulty listing on this knife. Learn the difference and triple check your order on Amazon. Some like adding a zip tie to the "O" to allow a pocket pull opening from pants like a switchblade.
