| 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Excellent flashlight!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Surefire 6PX Defender Single Output LED (Sports) This SureFire 6PX Defender is the same as the 6PX Tactical adding the attacking bezel and click type switch. The click switch made it very easy to use under the normal condition. I think this sort of switch makes less confusion in the non-tactical situation. The light is one mode, extremely bright 200 lumen, which could light up things easily in 100 meter distance. The striking bezel is pretty sharp, and could be useful in some emergency condition, like breaking a window. The only thing I don't quite like about the nowadays SureFire is they started to use "polycarbonate" window (Lexan, it's just plastic) instead of the old Pyrex one, which make it easy to scratch and collect more dust and lint ever. However, regarding Surefire is making those product for mostly tactical situation, the Lexan lens has a lot more advantages over the Pyrex one due to the high resistant to impact. So I'm guessing if the flashlight got shot or dropped, there's no chance for the lens to explode or crack... Read more |
